With the Rossvale Senior team moving away from the club to become an independent team, it was clear the club needed to replace them. The decision was taken, and we were granted entry to the West of Scotland League 4th Division 2022/23.
With 3 out of 4 wins the season started well, but as time passed it then became more challenging and decisions with made around the dynamic of the management team, while in the short-term things slowly improved, long term there were nagging doubts over longer term expectations.
While we greatly appreciate all the hard work of the players and coaching staff involved this season, we took the difficult decision prior to the last game to look for a replacement management team for season 2023/24. Losing the last game to BSC 2-1 left us in 8th position in the league and we are now looking forward to next season.
We are now looking forward to announcing our new manager and his coaching staff next week, we see this appointment as a progressive step towards delivering on a long-term vision.
